Hibiscus Iced Tea with Raspberry

December 02, 2018

When your feeling parched there's nothing more satisfying than sipping chilled iced tea to quench your thirst.

It is a beverage suitable for children as Hibiscus does not contain caffeine. As with any ingredient from nature that we consume, each has its own unique natural properties.

With the addition of Raspberry Jam Cordial it enhances and balances Hibiscus Flower lemony taste.

We recommend using a plunger, infuser or even a pot with strainer

This recipes makes 1 litre of Hibiscus Iced tea. For every 250ml ( 1 cup ) of water use 1 tablespoon of Hibiscus Flower.

To make

When you use quality traditional, floral or herbal tea, you can make several cups or jugs.

Above photo we made two jugs of Hibiscus Flower Iced using only 4 teaspoons of Hibiscus. Each 50gms in Roar Living's Hibiscus Flower satchels make 50 serves.

To Serve:

Place several ice cubes in glass, splash 1 tablespoon of Roar Living Raspberry Jam cordial, pour chilled Hibiscus Tea, stir and enjoy.

If you have ice block moulds double the amount of Raspberry Cordial with your iced tea, pour into moulds and freeze. It IS the most ultimate hot day frozen satisfier.
